Thomas Urbye
CEO & Senior Colourist

In 2007, after fours years as a colourist at MPC Technicolor, Thomas founded The Look. He is the company's Senior Colourist and CEO. Thomas is recognised as one of the world's leading colourists, his award-winning work includes 'Day of the Jackal', 'We Live In Time', 'Top Boy', 'Landscapers', 'Rivals', 'Fleabag', 'Sex Education', 'The Gold' & 'Gangs of London'. He also has a long list of credits for feature films. Thomas' focus is on expert creativity from scene to screen, innovation and client experience. He is regarded as a trusted advisor to this industry's top creatives.

Dan Marbrook
CCO & Director of Production

Dan is The Look's Chief Commercial Officer and Director of Production. His focus is on client experience, supporting them from prep, shooting, and through to final delivery. With excellent technical and logistical experience he is able to gently steer a project to successful completion. Recognised as an industry expert he is a confidant of many leading drama and feature producers and broadcasters. Dan has helped dozens of producers deliver world class projects with collaborations across the industry.

Mark Maltby
CTO & Director of Online

Mark is The Look's Chief Technology Officer and is the Director of the Online Department. Mark has been with the company for 15 years, starting as an online editor with many projects under his belt. He now leads the company's technical innovation strategy and its deployment, including managing security partnerships. With major global projects going through the company, he ensures the technology, his online editors, the delivery team, and the team of technical operators achieve their goals.

Andrew Daniel
Senior Colourist

Recognised as one of the world's leading colourists, Andrew joined The Look in March 2024. He didn't just bring the company his good wit, but his extensive work which includes 'All Quiet on the Western Front' (recipient of the 2022 Academy Award for Cinematography & BAFTA Best Film), award winning feature film 'Conclave', and many drama series including 'Hijack', 'Patrick Melrose', 'Giri/Haji' and 'Criminal Record'. Feature documentaries include 'Bobi Wine: The People’s President', 'If These Walls Could Sing', 'Be Water', 'Tell Me Who I Am', the Oscar winning 'White Helmets' and the Oscar Nominated 'Virunga'.

Grace Weston
Colourist

Grace joined The Look in 2016 after finishing her media degree at Bournemouth University. She now handles HDR grades across a variety of projects which have included awarded winning series 'Sex Education' and in 2022 she was nominated for an RTS for Picture Enhancement for 'Somewhere Boy'. Other credits include 'Dinosaur', 'Alma's Not Normal' and 'Mr Big Stuff'. Grace works closely with Thomas on the company's major projects, she is fun, highly creative and technically adept and has strong relationships with our top clients.

Tom Boyle
Online Editor

Tom or TB as we call him, joined The Look in 2014 and has quickly established himself as a leading online editor. He has an excellent eye for detail and a thorough approach to his work, combined with a good understanding of the technical aspects of the post production process. His credits include 'Top Boy', 'The Gold', 'Fleabag' and all seasons of 'Gangs of London', to name but a few.

Corey Marand
Online Editor

Corey joined the online team at The Look in April 2023. Having worked at The Farm with Aidan for many years, he was also well liked by many of our clients so we were keen he joined us. Corey brought his wit and excellent Flame skills to our major series and feature projects including 'Rivals' and 'Cheaters'.

Aidan Bennett
Online Editor

Aidan joined The Look after eight years working at The Farm as an Online Editor. Aidan is a whizz on Flame and has offered his skills across a variety of our high-end drama and feature projects as well as onlining his own series including 'Day of the Jackal', 'We Live In Time', 'Sixth Commandment' and 'Renegade Nell'. His calm manner and sense of humour is welcomed by many of our clients as they are in the final stages of the post production process.

Ben Stower
Senior Producer

Ben started his career at ENVY, before moving to Technicolor in a DI Producer role. From there he went on to work at Goldcrest, and subsequently Warner Bros. De Lane Lea. In 2024 he joined The Look as a Senior Producer, and of course has brought his wealth of experience in managing complex high-end projects.

Sol Rikweda
Producer

Sol joined The Look in 2022 after working at BBC Post Production. Sol has brought his experience from the BBC but also spent many years freelancing in various roles which has given him great insight across various sectors. Sol is friendly and enthusiastic, galvanising the team in the final stages of post.

Sophie Cullis
Producer

Sophie has worked in post production for well over a decade. Formerly with BBC Post Production, she joined The Look in 2016. Sophie has excellent client skills and is highly organised. She ensures smooth communication throughout the facility and to our clients.

Ollie Andersen
Junior Colourist

Ollie joined The Look in 2017 as a graduate of Ravensbourne's Film and Television course. Having worked his way up through our Control Room he is now handling first pass grades and the HDR to SDR Dolby Vision trims. His keen eye and easy going nature has led him to be a hit with our clients.

Sam Viner
Junior Colourist

Sam joined The Look in August 2019 after graduating from Ravensbourne. Sam stood out with his excellent grading showreel, thorough work ethic, and understanding of HDR and SDR workflows. Sam joins fellow alumni Ollie and Junayd and facilitates VFX grading, first pass HDR>SDR & prep for online and grading.

Fran Kamffer
Workflow & Delivery Manager

After having worked at Technicolor, Company 3 and then Picture Shop, Fran has brought his track record of delivering major projects to The Look. Fran manages the strategic journey and life of a project from start-up right through to delivery. He supports both The Look's production team, and also our Ops team, in ensuring a smooth workflow through communication, technical understanding and innovation for our clients.

Tom Large
Cardiff Operations Manager

Tom joined The Look in June 2018 having studied BA Film at Newport Film School. He subsequently launched The Look Cardiff and now manages the team and operations there, as well as data across all our major projects. He also works closely with the Production & Tech Op team in London. Tom is also our client's first point of contact at the Cardiff facility.

Lloyd Thomas
Junior Online Editor

Lloyd originally joined The Look Cardiff on a Sgil Cymru one year apprenticeship in 2019, and quickly impressed us with his strong work ethic and relaxed and friendly demeanour. Lloyd has developed important automation tools for the company having learnt Python scripting in his spare time, and is now learning Flame and starting his journey in online editing.

Abbey Wilson
Producer

Abbey joined The Look in 2024 after working as a Producer at ENVY leading high-end factual series. She was keen to move in to drama series and feature films, so when she saw we were advertising for a Producer to join our team she was keen to apply. Abbey is friendly, client focused and highly organised and has been a great addition to our team.

Sam Allgood
Post Coordinator

Sam joined our bookings team in 2021 after doing work experience during his media degree at the University of Gloucestershire, subsequently working at The Farm. Sam coordinates projects day to day, working with the other members of the production team. He has an excellent eye for detail and is first with the information for our clients.

Harry Coles
Head of Engineering & FM

Harry joined us in 2021 on a one year Post Production Technical Operator apprenticeship with London South Bank University. Harry is working closely with our CTO Mark Maltby to ensure the smooth running of the engineering department.

Ellie Bailey
Assistant Online

Ellie joined The Look Cardiff in April 2021 after graduating with a film degree from the University of South Wales. She joins our team in the Welsh office handling the entire facility's media and bringing her highly organised but also creative eye to the team.

Tarin Uddin
Runner & Front of House Assistant

Tarin joined The Look in March 2024 after graduating from the film and TV course at LSBU. Tarin, with her friendly character, is the first contact our clients have when they arrive at the facility. Tarin is supporting our Production team with reviewing changing client schedules and moving bookings as needed.

Jacob Pleace
Cardiff Tech Op

Jacob joined The Look Cardiff in 2022 after many years working in cinemas, working alongside the growing team there. Jacob has a calm and friendly manner and has taken on both data management and conforming.

Junayd Toussaint
London Tech Op / Runner

After studying his post production degree at Ravensbourne, followed by a stint in Avid offline, Junayd joined The Look in the Autumn of 2023. Junayd is learning the ropes of the Technical Operator role while helping out with clients around the facility.

Joe Tiongson
London Tech Op

Joe joined The Look in 2022 from Evolutions where he had been working as an Edit Assistant. Joe is working alongside the other Tech Ops both in London and Cardiff handling conforming, but also in partnership with Harry to support technical infrastructure across the company.

Isaac Slocombe
Cardiff Tech Op

Isaac completed his degree at the University of South Wales and then joined Cardiff based post production company Gorilla. When we were advertising for someone to join our team he applied, and has brought his experience to the Cardiff team. He will be handling data I/O and learning conforms and project preparation.

Eloise Treherne
Runner & Front of House Assistant

Eloise welcomes our clients as soon as they arrive. She joined The Look in 2025 after finishing her BA Editing & Post-production degree at Ravensbourne and has the future goal of working in our Production team producing projects.
