Legacy

The Look has been working towards how it might facilitate access to industry with a number of supportive measures including:

Regular mentoring sessions

Masterclass workshops

Employability advice & support

Work experience

Curating one page resources on current entry level jobs in post production and what to expect in these ever developing roles

Working with other post production companies to share ideas and galvanise colleges to engage with industry

We have already run mentoring sessions & masterclasses with East London College of Art, Music and Film (ELAM) and masterclass & employability panels with our recently graduated employees for North Kent College.

LEVERAGE

We are looking for maximum leverage, where we can shape and work closely with the needs of colleges and their students, and encourage engagement from across like-minded companies, our goal is for The Look to leave a legacy beyond our own staff and the series & films we work on.

As we move towards a more data heavy, multi-series world of competing broadcasters needing more and more content, we believe that graduates and undergraduates can benefit from remote working, cloud computing and evening and shift rotas to get access to and diversify our industry.
